Introduction
At this very moment that I am writing this book, I am 24 years old; a very young woman with a creative mind that wants to do nothing but serve the Lord.
To all those who are around my age all the way down to your teens and all the way to 30 years old, listen closely. I’ve been doing a lot of thinking on how our world is today. Just from being a woman to the people of my generation and I believe a change is needed now. I always say that if we are going to have any change, it needs to start in the home. Mom, Dad, Grandma, need to start being more involved in what goes on around our children. Stop letting the streets and TV get a hold on our kids. Take responsibility for what is yours. You could make the difference.
As I said before this book was born from my ministry I created that is called "Ladies of Christ Proverbs 31” but I wanted to do something that was for everyone. In my first book “Inspire Me Young” I talked about mentors. Everyone needs a mentor. Someone whose been there and done that. There are times in life when we can’t find anyone to be a mentor for us.
This is my first 5 in 1 series book. It discusses a lot of topics that need to be talked about today amongst people my age. We can relate to ever chapter in this book.
I pray this book gives you enough strength to do it on your own and to want to make a difference in your life and those around you. We are never too old to grow and never to old to learn!
Be inspired!!!!
Dedication
I dedicate this book to all those who have lost someone to the streets, jail or to the grave. To those who have lost someone very suddenly and unexpected in their life.
When violence is taken over, when we are killing each other, we can’t blame anyone but ourselves. Don’t look to the “white man” as a blame because that’s not the case. We are killing each other by choice, we are in jail (mostly) by choice and we are dead (mostly) by choice. God gives us room to make decisions in our lives. We decide to go to college or get on the streets and sell drugs. We decide to leave that woman who’s carrying the baby or we decide to be their and “man up” to our responsibilities. WE DECIDE! So don’t look left or right. Look straight in the mirror at yourself and say “I Decide”
It’s now or never! We have the power to break the cycle.
